 Thursday 8th October 2026

Live music returns on Thursday 8 Oct. | 7.30 pm as we head for an evening upstairs at The Stonemasons Arms **
(nearest tube Hammersmith / 5 mins walk)

Irrational presents
A refreshing and reflective night of original songs by ALAN O'KEEFFE | MARANOLIA | ED COAN | PHIL BIRD & HAL CHENHALL (STRIPS)
These great artists present their own music | Contemporary English and Irish Folk | Rock | Ballads | Pop | Jazz and R&B
One Night | Five troubadours | Multiple song journeys.

There are any number of evenings and places you can listen to bands and solo artists singing covers of well-known songs, but It’s very rare to find a complete evening of original songs by seasoned singer/songwriters.

Irrational Theatre plugs – or rather unplugs – this gap, returning on Thursday 8 October into another wonderfully intimate space, but seating is limited, so early booking is advised for this welcome addition to music scene.

That’s when songwriters ALAN O'KEEFFE | MARANOLIA | ED COAN | PHIL BIRD & HAL CHENHALL (STRIPS) will take the audience on a journey through their individual song writing lives. Expect well-observed songs of life, love and loss – and well, you’ll have to come along to hear what else is in store.
